Ava: Not at the shelter the Dog needs a home
What a gorgeous dog--this is Ava. She is a lab/terrier mix. She is housebroken, crate trained, and knows how to sit, stay, lay down, and come- she is a very smart dog. She needs some work on the leash and she is inconsistent around other dogs so we think placement as an only dog will be best. Sometimes she is friendly with other dogs and other times she is not.
She is SOOOO friendly with kids (she actually prefers them over adults!) She plays ball, squeaks her squeaker toys, and rolls around with kids. She gives lots of kisses (licks) to them as well:)))) She will be 2 years only in April. She is up to date on all of her shots. She weighs about 44 pounds.
She is so sweet and so smart. She follows commands very well. It's pretty tough for her current family to continue working with her due to her strength, and the age of her current person, so we are trying to help her mom find just the right place for her.
